Giovanni and his wife, Lisa, began their journey as entrepreneurs in the mortgage industry, successfully operating a boutique firm with offices in Chicago and Scottsdale before executing a profitable exit in 2008. Following this, they shifted their focus to the booming pet retail industry, launching Bentley’s Pet Stuff, a natural pet food retailer.

Their expertise and ability to scale quickly led them to be featured on CNBC’s The Profit with Marcus Lemonis, ultimately becoming the most successful investment in the show’s history. With Marcus’ backing, Bentley’s evolved into Pet Stuff America, which grew to 92 corporate stores through organic growth and over 50 strategic acquisitions of similar businesses.

Recognized for his leadership and business acumen, Giovanni was named Chief of Staff and Chief Revenue Officer of Marcus Lemonis LLC, overseeing a $100+ million portfolio of investments spanning multiple industries, including retail, manufacturing, fast-casual dining, and franchising.
